My journey into counselling began with learning how to rebuild a sense of home and belonging through change, transition, and immigration. As a Lebanese-Brazilian who has moved between countries, I developed a deep appreciation for how complex and emotional these experiences can be. I find it meaningful to walk alongside clients as they make sense of their stories and rediscover a sense of steadiness, belonging, and connection.
I work from a person-centered and trauma-informed lens, drawing on EMDR as well as CBT and DBT tools. Clients can expect a collaborative and non-judgmental space where their story is honoured and where growth unfolds at their own pace.
Starting counseling can be difficult at times, but it is not a journey you have through alone. I look forward to walking beside you on this journey.
